Watch Donkey enjoy his afternoon walk at the Rescue Ranch! 🫏

It’s a beautiful Thursday at the sanctuary where our resident donkey gets some extra grass time. While he explores the pasture, his companions Natalia and the rest of the gang watch from behind the fence, clearly wishing they could join the fun.

Catch this sweet animal moment and see who gets jealous of the fresh green grass next.

We wish YOU were here! We could use more people to come and just walk and groom the animals, to help keep this herd in shape. Although, as you can see, Chilli and Natalia don't need to be led, as they are eager to supervise everything we are doing without needing to be haltered and led to do it!

Today I am so happy and grateful for all of our animals who are healthy and happy, and that we have such an amazing place for them to live.

Grateful for the volunteers we do have who come regularly and help us care for these precious beasts.

Grateful for the sunshine, and the gentle rain, and the regular rainbows we get.

Grateful for the donations, that help us make sure we have plenty of hay and feed for the animals in our care throughout the year.

And mostly grateful for YOU, you animal loving angel. I see you, the person who would give almost anything for one more moment with them, our animals, who helps us through everything, and help make life worth it.
