Dr. Jena Questen
I like to say that Mustangs are the only horses on earth bred by God, not by Man.
Hidden underneath their small stature and brown colors, is a truly special breed of horse that thinks and acts like no other. How can they, when they know intimately of something we have no knowledge of, complete and total freedom. It's a lot to wrap your head around, am I right?
Today I am grateful for our Mustangs, Cesar, Natalia, and Chilli. I am grateful I was introduced to the world of Mustangs, and that I have the opportunity and privilege to work with and train them. And I am grateful I have the tools in my toolbelt to use the kindest, most compassionate way to train any animal to do anything, and that I have the capacity to teach this to others. I am lucky and grateful to have a worthwhile life's purpose that is very clear to me.
What about you, Animal Loving Angel? What are you grateful for today? Have you ever thought about your own freedom in your life, and how lucky we are to make our own choices (for the most part)? Not so many people are so lucky. Some did not wake up today and their family today is mourning their loss. Some live in war torn places where they have little choice but to flee from danger. I hope none of those things are the case for you today. I hope you woke up, feeling strong and determined, and looking forward to making the most of this beautiful day.
And if I can help you in the journey with your pets or horses, I am here for you.
Make the most of this wonderful day, and know, I appreciate YOU!
