Dr. Jena Questen
Today my priority is live TV this Friday. I woke up early and got lots of puppy kisses. Then I worked on my planner, reviewing all of December and January, what was done, what is not done yet, and what things I need to move over to my February list. It’s a lot of dedication, but it keeps me on track and moving ahead.
Today I have to submit everything required for me to be on live television on Great Day Colorado this Friday morning at 9 am. I have to decide what special offers I want to present, and any really good video clips or stories to share. Any suggestions for me?
Today I am grateful I woke up today, that I am breathing easily, that I have well behaved dogs that I can’t get enough of, that my ankle didn’t wake me up in pain (like it has the past couple of nights), and that I get to see the sunrise. I wonder what it will look like today? Slow, gray, and gentle, or bright pink and quick? Yesterday I prioritized trying to get the last of the full moon in my morning video. It got a few thumbs down. Not sure why, maybe the music choice? It sure is interesting trying to figure out what makes people do what they do. But I am mostly grateful for the video I posted of my fun afternoon with Natalia swinging her cute tail along the fence line with me. What a fun afternoon! I mean, truly magical to have your horse SO want to be with you, like a big dog, just eager to prance and play alongside you, and ignore other horses, people, food, or even a fence. She just so enjoys interacting with me, and the opportunities to learn, and to enjoy and have fun, that it’s hard to put into words. What other horse videos do you see with a horse practically begging to be ridden, please, please, please pick me?! That is the power of positive reinforcement. Not going to get the horse, to make them go and do the thing. Just you, and the horse wanting so badly just to be with you , the next step naturally is to do the thing together, just for fun. It’s a different way of thinking, a more compassionate one. And a message the whole world could use to hear, and try, and embrace.
Today, my Animal Loving Angel friend, be grateful for this day, for what you have, that you are alive, and that you have the whole day to make this day one that you will never forget. Wishing you all the best on this beautiful day. Be kind to yourself today, and learn something new, or get out of your comfort zone for just a minute. It will do you some good. Oh, and pet a cute animal if you are lucky enough to get the chance to do that today. Have a wonderful day everyone!
