Dr. Jena Questen
Is it already Hump Day again? And who else is still struggling a bit with the time change, it’s so bright this morning I feel behind in my morning, but I am actually right on schedule. Strange how our perceptions about things can change our human experience. Are you noticing what you are noticing? Do you know what you are doing today, and why? I hope so! Because only then can you begin to shape your day, and your life, for more joy, health, and happiness.
I was listening to a podcast this morning about how Ai is going to change our world in the next two years, and beyond. As a business owner, I need to keep up with how quickly the world is changing around us. And it is changing more quickly now than in all of human history. How lucky are we to be alive to see this?! I am grateful for that. I choose to see it through the eyes of gratitude, not fear. And choose to find the good, because whether you are afraid of the future or not, it changes nothing, huge changes for society are on the near horizon. The quicker we can embrace it, the more quickly we can harness those changes for good.
One of the concerns is whether there will be jobs in the future, and how young people can make decisions today to help make sure they will be able to have a job in the future. One thing that will not be replaced by robots, is animal trainers. And did you know that my Horse Training Masterclass is everything you need to know to become a professional horse trainer? Information about that program is here https://www.resqranch.org/drqsmasterclass-a
Especially if you already have experience with horses. And if you don’t, then taking the course and adding 6 -12 months of personal coaching through my Accelerator program, is all you need to get out there and become a professional positive reinforcement horse trainer. That information is here https://www.resqranch.org/drqsaccelerator-a Isn’t that exciting! And if you don’t want to be a horse trainer, but a pet trainer, the principles are all the same for that, too, so just let me know and we will tailor the program to get you exactly what you need so you can have an amazing future as an animal trainer.
Today I am grateful for my bearded dragon Treasure, who we have had, on a plant based no cricket or mealworm diet, just salads, for over 10 years. He is probably one of the most well trained animals we have, he always eliminates in the shower (yes I shower with him) which makes him so easy to take care of. And after the shower, he could wander anywhere around the house he wants, but he often walks over and puts one little foot on my foot, his subtle way of seeking connection and affection. He is a very special little guy. I am grateful for Natalia’s love, and so very grateful she is almost always the first to greet me with great enthusiasm, and I often wonder what I ever did to deserve that kind of devotion. I am grateful my children are developing a new friendship with each other as they begin to find themselves making more adult decisions. I am grateful for my vision, my passions, my health, and that this beautiful day is before me, so I can choose to be a good leader, a good leader, a good mother, a good friend, and hopefully bring joy and inspiration to others today.
What are you grateful for? I hope that you woke up today, and that you take a moment to just be kind to yourself. Look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself what you need to hear. “YOU are doing GREAT!”, I dare you to do it!
Have a wonderful day, and just know that the path is just to simply be a little better, every day, in every way. God bless!
