Dr. Jena Questen

Like the song says, New York will make you feel brand new, and will inspire you.
I feel inspired after visiting there for a veterinary aquatic animal medicine conference.

Visiting New York is almost like visiting another country, what with all the rich languages spoken all around you. Seeing so many people in one place all getting along so well, is inspiring.

And to come home and this morning see the first snowflakes of the year glittering in the early morning light, is just overwhelmingly magical.

Today I am grateful all the animals were ok while we were gone (except Delilah may she rest in peace, and Smashmouth our big rescue goldfish with the continuous herpes virus infected painful lips, poor baby). I am grateful for the team of people it took to take care of all the animals while we were gone. I am grateful for the quality time I got to spend learning more about the latest advances in aquatic animal medicine, catching up with other fish doctors from around the country who I have known for some for almost 20 years now, getting to spend some quality time with my family, my mother, and my two girls (one who is now off to college and I feel like I get to see her very little), and that my mother is still her wonderful self and able to travel, and that we felt safe everywhere we went on all of our adventures.

It felt high vibrational the entire time we were there. Do you recall that all feelings and emotions actually have vibrations per the work of Dr. David Hawkins? And that those vibrations can be physically measured? So the good news for us is that we can learn to tap in to those vibrations. We do that by spending more time practicing living life in the higher vibrations. This brings more love, peace, contentment, and health, into your life. The higher vibrations are peace, love, forgiveness, and of course gratitude. The lower vibrations are angry, sadness, resentment, and discontent. Did you know you could use these to influence your relationship with others, including your pets?

We will continue this conversation later this week. In the mean time, what "I AM" are you going to say to yourself today? I am grateful. I am wealthy. I am healthy. I am healing. I am doing great just like I am. These are all options. I encourage you to pick one that resonates with you today, and say it out loud. Even better, look yourself in the face in the mirror and say it right into your own eyes.

Of course, I am grateful for you today, you Animal Loving Angel. Wishing you all the best for this beautiful day, make it your own, so when you go to sleep tonight, you will do so with a smile on your face because of how wonderful this day was, and you are looking forward to another tomorrow. Best wishes, you are worth it!
