Dr. Jena Questen
Today I am grateful I woke up today. How awful for my kids if I didn't. I know I can't be here for them forever. But at least I can be there for them today.
I am grateful we had a good day at work yesterday. I am grateful I got to watch one of my favorite movies last night. I am grateful there is a light dusting of snow on the ground this morning (finally!). And I am grateful I have the whole day ahead of me to push forward whatever projects I think would be the most valuable to help us get to where I don't have to avoid conversations and check out just watching tv because I have no idea how we are going to buy another load of hay right now.
I hope your day yesterday was so good! Did you do something nice for yourself, or make it special somehow? We did at work, sharing our new year's resolutions, and contemplating what we would do differently if this was the last day of your life.
So how would you live differently today, if you knew this was the last one of your life? Reach out to a friend who you have not spoken to in a while? Apologize for something you did which you know hurt someone else? Watch a funny movie, play a board game, and crank up the music for your own dance party? Now that sounds like a fun way to spend the day, am I right?
Alright folks, it's the first full week of 2026, a perfect opportunity for a new start, a fresh approach to goals, digging deep for some renewed energy, and working hard to forgive yourself for what you did or did not do, yesterday, and meet this beautiful, reliable sunrise, with a smile. And if you have the capacity to help us with the hay situation, we would be extremely grateful, thanks in advance https://www.coloradogives.org/organization/Resqranch and have a wonderful day!
