Today is an auspicious date, the 26th of 2026, this day will never happen again. We woke up, so that means we still have a purpose on this earth. Do you ever stop to think about that you have no control over your heart beating, or the fact you are breathing? Something else is at work that we have no control over. So what does it mean?

I would like to think it means we have a deep spiritual connection with something outside of ourselves. That there is more to this world than what meets the eye. And just because we don’t have evidence of something, does not mean that it’s not true. 100 years ago we had no evidence of electricity, but Eddison believed, and now, look at how dependent our lives are on the power grid. What else might not be evident in this moment, which will be not only known, but also integral to how we perceive the daily world, 100 years from today. Imagine the possibilities! I know many people worry about the future of technology and Ai and what it will mean for us. However, I see it differently. I am excited for the possibilities and am looking forward to the advances that are steam rolling our way, whether ready for them or not. They are coming. And the sooner we can grasp hold and steer these for good, the better. So don't be afraid to open your eyes and hang on!

Today I am grateful for the sunrise. My warm bed, home, furnace, and running water. I am grateful for hay, water, and blankets for the horses. I am grateful I got to see and watch so many tiny beautiful birds bopping around in the snow yesterday, eating the tiny bits of grain which are hidden within the horses hay piles. And then get to watch them gather around the horse water trough and carefully scoot their little toes down the electrical cord inside the trough heaters, so they could get drinks of water from the trough. It was amazing to see how those little tiny lives could survive out in this bitter cold. Absolutely incredible. Life finds a way.

Today, you Animal Loving Angel, I hope you embrace this beautiful day, this gift that has been given to us, in a new way. Forgive yourself for yesterday, and set a powerful intention for this day. Hold gratitude for this sunrise in your heart, and know that if you woke up today, your life has a meaning, and purpose, and you are meant to be here, you matter, you are important. And if you don’t feel it yet, then give to others, and find gratitude in your heart, until you do.

​Wishing you the most beautiful day, it is promising to be an especially great one. Have fun, laugh, and if you can, dance a little (or a lot) in your bare feet today.
