Today I am grateful I woke up. I am grateful for the breath in my lungs. I am grateful my ankle hurts so much less. I am grateful I got to go to a wonderful dinner with both my girls last night. And I am grateful for my courage, and my persistence, even in the face of insecurities.

I am excited about the National Western Stock Show, we will be volunteering down there as a group next Tuesday. Last year we did it, and cleaned stalls side by side with homeless people who signed up with a temp service and chose to clean stalls at the event. What a great experience for my teenage daughter to work side by side with people, who just laughed and shook their heads at us, that we chose to volunteer to shovel manure! It was a wonderful time, and after a few hours of scoping and shoveling, we were free to explore the rest of the Stock Show. It is sure to be a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to check out many of the new buildings. Put in the comments down below your best memories of the Stock Show.
