Create a Horse That Chooses You
Most horses have learned to tolerate humans.
This day teaches you how to create a horse that willingly seeks connection.

- How to approach horses safely,
- Why some horses become “hard to catch”,
- How to make horses feel safer,
- Pasture and herd awareness,
- How to reduce stress and tension,
- How to create trust and partnership with horses.
This can completely transform the relationship between horse and human.
DAY 3 — Consent-Based Handling & Advanced Leading
Become the Calm, Confident Handler Horses Trust
Most horses have learned to tolerate humans.
This final day focuses on creating softness, responsiveness, and confidence in real-world handling situations.
You will develop:

The Animal’s Choice Matters
This clinic is rooted entirely in Positive Reinforcement training.
At the ResqRanch, animals have a voice and a choice. Progress depends on each individual horse’s comfort, confidence, and willingness to participate. This creates deeper trust, safer outcomes, and more authentic partnerships.
There are no forced timelines, intimidation tactics, or coercive methods used in this program.
