Here at the ResqRanch, every dollar counts towards providing a safe haven and a second chance for our beloved wild mustangs and discarded racehorses. We are constantly amazed and deeply grateful for the creative and generous ways our community rallies around our mission.

Today, we want to give a huge shout-out to one of our dedicated board members, Dave Hartman! Dave recently combined his passion with his commitment to the ResqRanch in a truly unique and heartwarming way. He partnered with his friend who runs the wonderful YouTube channel 'Classic Model Trains' to undertake a special fundraising project.

Together, they acquired a vintage 1955 model train set. What followed was a labor of love as they meticulously refurbished this piece of history, bringing it back to its former glory. The process was even documented in a delightful video on the 'Classic Model Trains' channel (see below). It was fascinating to see the care and attention they poured into this project.

Once the train set was beautifully restored, Dave and his friend generously auctioned it off to benefit the ResqRanch. We are thrilled to announce that their efforts successfully raised $250 for our animals!

This incredible contribution will go directly towards the care, feeding, and medical needs of our rescued horses. Whether it's providing nutritious hay, farrier services, or even supporting holistic treatments like acupuncture to ease an older horse's arthritis, every bit makes a difference in their lives.

Dave, your ingenuity and dedication are truly inspiring. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and from all the horses at the ResqRanch, for your tireless support. And a big thank you to 'Classic Model Trains' for sharing their expertise and platform to help our rescued animals!
